Ljubica Fill
Inducted - 1979 Minneapolis

Remember "Libby's All Girl Tamburitzans" from Ohio?  Ljubica "Libby" Fill started this tamburitza ensemble and became extremely popular in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and Canada.  She later played with several different tamburitza orchestras throughout the years until she organized "Libby and Her Tamburitzans".

This group performed in Washington, D.C. for the nation's Bicentennial celebration and was also invited to play at the Inaugural Ball for President Carter.

Libby has also been a radio announcer for 15 years on the International Hours of two separate radio stations in Youngstown, Ohio.  She is also one of the officers of the Tamburitza Association of America and eagerly looks forward each year to arranging and escorting large tamburitza fan groups to the annual extravaganzas.  A very active lady?  She is also a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
