2012 Extravaganza Announced!

After a 37 year hiatus, the state of Ohio will be hosting the 2012 Tamburitza Extravaganza. The event is set for October 25-28, 2012, in the heart of it all, Columbus, Ohio! The Hyatt Regency Downtown Columbus will be our host hotel and is located at 350 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43215. The hotel has recently completed its $12 million guestroom and corridor renovation.

Reservations are now being accepted under the group code of TAA 2012. Make your reservations now by calling 1-888-421-1442 (the group reservations line) and provide the group code to receive the s pecial TAA rate of $115.

The hotel is offering this special rate ($115 + tax) from October 22 through October 31, 2012, so those who want to make this an extended vacation can take advantage of our special TAA rate.

Columbus offers many tourist sites and attractions including the Arena District, the Arts District, the Brewery District, German Village, Museum of Art, Ohio State University, Ohio Historical Center and Village, and the capital city's Ohio Statehouse, just to name a few. For those who fancy games of chance (and luck), the new Hollywood Casino Columbus is expected to open in the second half of 2012. Also in 2012, the city will be celebrating its 200th birthday with special events and exciting new developments!

Drivers can reach Columbus via two major interstates that intersect near downtown (I-70 runs east and west and I-71 runs north and south).  Visitors flying into the city arrive at Port Columbus International Airport located just 10 minutes east of downtown. Airport shuttle services are available as well as taxi service averaging only $22 to downtown.
